BENEFITS OF LASERTIGHT LASER LIPOLYSIS

LaserTight, previously called LipoLaze, is a patented technology developed by California cosmetic surgeon Dr. Mark Solomon that simultaneously vaporizes unwanted fat and tightens the surrounding skin, much like Smartlipo™. Advantages of this technology include:

Dr. Solomon can use LaserTight in conjunction with traditional liposuction in California to sculpt difficult to treat areas and make unwanted fat easier to extract. It also tightens skin on areas that sag after surgical procedures, such as those previously treated with liposuction.

COMPARISON TO SMARTLIPO

LaserTight and Smartlipo both use laser technology to target unwanted fat cells. Dr. Solomon offers specialized variations of LaserTight for use on sensitive areas:

• NeckTight® rejuvenates the chin, jaw line, and neck.

Unlike Smartlipo, LaserTight is designed specifically for the treatment of fat. Using patented technologies, Dr. Solomon achieves dramatic results due to the specific qualities of the laser light itself. The LaserTight beam specifically targets fat cells using a special wavelength of light that vaporizes the deposits from underneath the skin. The targeted laser beam also minimizes bruising and tightens skin.

PROCEDURE & RECOVERY

Our laser lipolysis patients appreciate LaserTight because it is so convenient. Dr. Solomon performs this treatment as a simple office procedure with only local anesthesia for small areas. He inserts the wire-thin laser device under the skin in the treatment area to destroy unwanted fat. The treatment is usually complete in about 15 minutes and there are no sutures required. Larger areas may require the use of an outpatient surgical suite to achieve your goals.

Patients usually need only a day or two of rest after this minimally invasive procedure. In addition to vaporizing fat, the laser energy stimulates collagen production in the treated areas for about six to eight months after the procedure. The increased collagen fills out the skin to improve skin tone naturally.
